Cuswpc Tech is a small, independent magazine for people who use technology to run something: a business, a side project, a household budget or a home office that has quietly turned into a full-time workplace. We write about the tools, decisions and paperwork that sit between having an idea and making it work day to day.
What we cover
The archive has grown in several directions over the years, and we have kept that range because work and technology rarely stay in neat boxes. The main threads are:
- Tech and software – networks, streaming, security and the apps that save time, from getting a stronger Wi-Fi signal to two-factor authentication.
- Business – setting up, invoicing, funding growth and choosing local services, including our walk-through on how to start an LLC.
- Marketing and social media – video, search visibility and getting noticed without a large budget.
- Finance and insurance – budgeting, credit, brokers and cover, always as general background rather than personal recommendations.
- Real estate and travel – property markets, moving between cities and the practical side of working away from home.
Who writes it
Cuswpc Tech is produced by a handful of writers and editors who publish under pen names. None of us presents a professional title for you to rely on, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we offer instead is patience: reading the official documentation, trying the settings where we can, and setting out the trade-offs so you can make the call yourself. You can read more about our motivations on What Keeps Us Writing.
How an article comes together
Most pieces start with a question a reader is likely to type into a search box at an inconvenient moment: why the stream keeps stalling, what a lender looks at, what has to go on a bill to a client. We answer the question first, then add the context that helps it stick. Drafts are read by someone other than the writer before they go live, and older pieces are revisited when menus, rules or products change. Our approach to sources is described on How We Look Things Up, and the house style on The Way We Write.
What we will not do
- Invent figures, studies, quotes or case histories to make a point sound stronger.
- Tell you which loan, policy or investment to choose. Money and legal topics are written as general information, and the rules differ from one state or country to the next.
- Pretend that a mention of a company is an endorsement of it.
Mistakes and feedback
We get things wrong sometimes, and we would rather hear about it than leave an error in place. The process is explained on Getting It Right. For anything else, from story suggestions to questions about an older article, the Reach Us page has the address that lands on our desk.
Thanks for reading. If one of our guides saved you an afternoon of trial and error, it has done its job.
In short
Cuswpc Tech at a glance
The essentials about the magazine, without the marketing.
A small team writing under pen names, with no professional titles claimed.
Coverage spans tech, software, marketing, business, finance, property, insurance and work travel.
Money and legal pieces are general background, and they say when rules change from place to place.
No advertising trackers run on the site, and a business named in a post is not one we vouch for.
Readers can report mistakes by email, and confirmed fixes are noted on the article.
