This notice explains what Cuswpc Tech stores in your browser and why. It is short, because there is very little to explain.
The short answer
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social media pixels or any other tracking tools. The magazine works the same whether you accept or decline the banner.
The one thing we store
When you click a button on the cookie banner, your choice is written to your browser's local storage. Local storage is a small area of your browser that a website can use to remember a setting on your own device. We use it for one purpose only: so the banner knows you have already answered and stops appearing on every page.
| What is saved | Location | Reason | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banner choice | Your browser's local storage | Remembers that you accepted or declined | Until you clear site data |
This value is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it contains no information that identifies you.
What about cookies from other services?
Pages on Cuswpc Tech do not load embedded videos, social buttons or advertising scripts from other companies, so those services cannot set cookies through our site. If you follow a link from one of our articles to another website, that site's own cookie rules apply from the moment you arrive.
Changing your mind
Because nothing depends on your answer, there is little reason to change it. If you would like the banner to appear again, clear the stored data for this site:
- Open your browser's settings and look for privacy or site data options.
- Find the entry for this website and choose to clear or remove its data.
- Reload any page and the banner will ask again.
Using a private browsing window has a similar effect, since local storage is discarded when the window closes.
Server logs are separate
Our hosting provider keeps routine technical logs when pages are requested. These are not cookies and are not stored in your browser; they are explained on our Data Protection page.
